Amber Hamilton

I'm Amber Hamilton and this is my second year at Monsignor McCoy. I am an incredibly proud mom of 3 amazing kids, our 15 year old dog Cutie, and our guinea pig Kenma. I teach Fitness and Performance, Art, and created and teach the brand new Digital Design program here at the school. I am also so honoured to be the Head Coach of the Colts Track and Field team, as well as a co-coach for the JV boys volleyball team, and the strength/dryland coach for the girls basketball teams. 

I earned my first Bachelor's degree in General Studies with a focus in Fine Arts and earned my second Bachelor's degree from the U of C in Education. I hold many certificates including as a powerlifting and olympic lifting coach, dryland trainer, wildlife rehabilitator, forest conservationist, volleyball referee, coach, and more. I pride myself on being someone the kids can come chat with and feel comfortable around and love seeing them succeed in things they didn't think were possible. I can't wait to see the future for these kids who I'm lucky to call my students and athletes. Go Colts Go!
